Mobilization Advisory

Protests and demonstrations: risk scenarios and practical guidance for decision-makers.

Guidance for businesses

General passive-security guidance. It does not replace instructions from the authorities.

Before (48–12 hours)

  • Check official announcements and public calls to gather in your area
  • Bring in removable outdoor furniture, planters, signs and seating
  • Agree a contact channel with neighbours and the local traders' association
  • Plan reduced shifts and one person in charge of decisions
  • Move valuable goods away from shop windows

While it passes

  • Always follow instructions from Law Enforcement and Local Police
  • Decide on partial or full closure early, not at the last minute
  • Staff do not intervene, film or provoke: personal safety comes first
  • Keep interior lights on and an alternative exit clear
  • Call 112 in case of immediate danger

After

  • Inspect the outside before reopening
  • Photograph any damage for police reports and insurance
  • Report anomalies to the competent authorities
  • Reopen in an orderly way and update customers and staff

Our approach

  • Supplementary information support: we do not interfere with the responsibilities of public security authorities
  • Open, public sources only, with a clear distinction between confirmed facts and estimates
  • No personal data: no usernames, profiles or comment text
  • No alarmism: the goal is operational continuity and the safety of people

Frequently asked questions

Does Preventio replace public security authorities?

No. Public order and security remain the exclusive responsibility of the authorities. Preventio provides supplementary information and passive-security guidance for those who must protect people, businesses and services. In case of danger, always follow official instructions.

Where does the information come from?

From open, publicly accessible sources, including public social media content, news and official communications. Each indication is graded for reliability and separates what is confirmed from what is only an estimate.

Do you collect data about people?

No. Monitoring works on signals aggregated by place, date and time slot. Usernames, profiles and comment text are not stored.

How far in advance can you give guidance?

It depends on when a call to gather becomes public: often from a few days to a few hours before. Estimates may change and should always be checked against official communications.

How do I get started?

Contact us with your city, area and type of business. Together we assess whether you need a one-off advisory, continuous monitoring or a brief for a specific event.

Do you run a business or an event in an affected area?

Tell us your city, area and type of business: we'll tell you how we can help.
